Very occasionally Ely Cathedral may need to close its doors to visitors for a service, special event, filming or maintenance.

We know that people travel long distances to visit Ely Cathedral so we try to minimise periods of closure as much as possible. As soon as we know about a closure the information will be posted here. Please remember to check this page for any last minute changes prior to your visit as some events may have to be arranged at short notice.

Due to the Ordination Service at 3.00pm there will be restricted admission and access to the Cathedral after 1.00pm.
